Scent Mixology FAQs

Do I need candle- or perfume-making experience?

No. Scent Mixology classes and Take Home Kits are designed to be beginner-friendly.

How long are classes?

Most classes take approximately 1½–2 hours, depending on the selected project and group size.

How many guests can attend?

Private classes can accommodate up to 15 guests.

Can I choose a cotton or wooden wick?

Yes. Candle classes include a choice of cotton or wooden wick.

How do I choose a fragrance?

Start with the Scent Quiz. It reveals three signature scents based on your preferred scent family. During class, we also guide you through fragrance selection.

Are all 12 core scents available in every project?

Not always. Take Home Kits and classes show the scent choices that are appropriate and currently available for that project.

Are the fragrance formulas published?

No. Southern E-Scentuals blending formulas and ratios are proprietary and remain private.

Can I book a private group?

Yes. Contact us with your preferred date, group size and class interest.
